These Wellness Shots are a real boost for our immune system and very easy to prepare!
Main ingredients:
Lemon: contains plenty of vitamin C, has an anti-inflammatory, detoxifying effect and strengthens the body's defenses.
Turmeric: has a detoxifying, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.
Ginger: has an expectorant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and warming effect.
Pepper: ensures better absorption of turmeric, warms from the inside, has an expectorant, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.
Ingredients for 3 shots
1 tsp. turmeric powder or fresh turmeric
1 piece of ginger size of your choice
juice of one lemon
1 tablespoon agave syrup/maple syrup
a pinch of black pepper
250 ml still water
Mix all ingredients with a blender and enjoy the shot cold - be aware that turmeric makes very yellow stains that are hard to wash out (I speak from experience 🤭). My tip if something should go wrong is to let soda powder act on the stain.
